Today I launched a new planner and notebook for my brand, and this is not a marketing ploy or plan— I just want to tell you about it. So please keep reading like you would if I was telling you about the time I told a TSA agent to f*** off, or venting about my overwhelm.
Ah, overwhelm. I talked about it last week, I think about it a lot. Every day I am reminding myself that I can in fact handle my life and work to let that addiction to overwhelm go. I can taste freedom and empowerment, but I am not quite there yet.
The best way for me to overcome overwhelm, whether it’s about my tasks or my emotions, is to write it down. But I am guilty of both only journaling when I am sad, and writing in a planner and then not referring to it to actually help organize my day. So I decided to create a journal and planner that I would feel excited to actually use.
The Beautiful Day planner is intentional and exciting. It’s simply laid out: your three most important daily tasks, remaining tasks, and a moment to document something magical each day. The most successful people say that they focus on three major tasks daily for productivity, and the most magical abundant people keep track of daily magical moments to attract more goodness into their lives. It’s a sexy little gratitude moment. Every month you have a journal prompt and an area for writing down goals. At the end of the month, you get to pretend you’re an editor or a celebrity on Vogue’s YouTube, documenting the things you loved this month. Include your new favorite lip gloss, a new realization from therapy, your favorite song atm, etc. There’s a space to write down what you crushed at this month, and what you could’ve done better. It will actually be fun to use this thing, you guys.
It’s 7x9 so it won’t take up too much space. And I really don’t want you to get overwhelmed, so we’re going to just focus on January-March, okay? There will be a new planner and design every quarter. So you can subscribe and get a new one sent automatically right before April, or you can just buy the planner on its own.
NOW LET’S CHAT ABOUT THIS FREAKING NOTEBOOK.
I wanted to create an emotional support notebook that you would fill with really good things. Save the trauma dumping for your moleskin, and use this to make lists of things you love, write down your amazing ideas, funny moments, or bucket lists in. The end goal is a notebook that’s so cute you keep in your purse, that turns into a documentation of your beautiful life— and something you can reread for the rest of your life to feel happiness again.
And that’s all folks. I’m just really excited about this new way to romanticize your life and feel more intentional, and it happens to be pretty ADHD-proof if you struggle with that ;)
