I just sat down for the evening to write my newsletter on my phone, because my laptop is broken and typing on an iPad is hell. But before I started writing my heart out, I made a to do list on my phone.
I can’t access my planner because it’s in the second bedroom where I’ve barricaded myself out on accident by stacking boxes. (SIDE NOTE OMG I HAVE A SECOND BEDROOM!!!!)
The point is that I’m rolling with the punches. So back to the to do list. I stared at it and instantly started to feel overwhelm with dread, even though it was full of things I wanted to do. Things I have to do if I want to go where I want to go. You know how lists work.
I realized that the easiest way to plow through this list, get things done, and move forward is to just do them. I’m so sick of sick of being scared of a list of things to do. I’m so sick of being scared about things that aren’t scary!
I think I’m scared because I have a lifetime of experience where I’d forget to do things and be overwhelmed and ashamed by late deadlines, overflowing inboxes, etc.
But I’m actively choosing to live in today instead of tomorrow, or worse, yesterday.
Let’s move forward with a rational, cheerful, f*ck it spirit this week! To look at things as they are and nothing else! And trusting ourselves or whatever! Because here’s the thing, it’s always a good day to start from scratch!
Xx
