Oh hi! I feel like I’ve been under the internet radar, wanna know why? I’ve been super productive at my day job (tezza app) and my business (sobriquet) I went to Florida and I saw dolphins and drank wine while swimming in the water (very salty Cabernet) As you know I am an Instagram girlfriend, so while I have these to show for my boyfriends’ vacation:

It’s easier to kickstart new habits after a vacation.
Here are my two good ideas:
1: To stop bringing my phone around as I complete tasks. Have you ever done the dishes or your skincare while you’re scrolling tik tok? I accidentally did it a while ago and my soapy hands scrolling to the next 15-second clip was so pathetic I immediately threw my phone across the room. Can I not just look at my face for my 7-minute skincare routine? Do not bring your phone to go potty. Don’t bring it to take your dog potty. Having headphones in is one thing (I am always listening to Armchair Expert) but scrolling, while you’re walking around, is another. It’s almost impossible to get into flow state when you overstimulate yourself life this.
How I do this: I keep a list on my phone (IRONIC I KNOW) of every time I stop myself from being on my phone and giving myself points. If I hit a certain number I’m buying a certain designer bag.
2: To learn how to operate on a to-do list. I’m trying to become toxic about my to-do list. The type of person who checks their schedule before making plans. Double booking? My second nature. I have a lot going on, probably too much, but that’s kind of how it has to be at the moment. So after like a week of sticking to a to-do list, I can report that it’s actually pretty freeing, everything takes less time than you think.
How I do this: listen to a really good song after I check off multiple things. Work with my two feet flat on my ground, sitting up straight (instant focus), and write down tasks that weren’t there originally after I complete them (motivating), Make a running list of the average-above average tasks I completed in the day.
My reward? Knowing that in a year I’ll get so good at sticking to my list that it overtakes my life and I write a newsletter about letting loose and letting go of my to-do list. It’s kind of silly, but that’s just how life goes. Because here’s the thing, you’re allowed to change drastically whenever you want. While I was on the plane ride to my trip I planned a whole collection for my brand and on the plane ride home I played with tiny wings on my phone for two hours straight.
Observation of the week: I haven’t been getting enough sleep, I’m getting older and I’m noticing that I have under-eye bags now… but they’re kind of sexy?
